Originally from Invercargill Jeremy now lives in Taupo. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and a Masters of Public Management, as well as being a graduate of the Institute for Strategic Leadership and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. Recognised by Victoria University as one of forty influential alumni under 40 his key skills are change management, leadership, project management and strategy.
Jeremy’s experience spans health, social services and iwi development. Starting with a role at the Health Funding Authority he has moved through central government, research, business ownership, District Health Boards, primary care and Maori health and Whanau Ora. He has also held previous governance roles on the Boards of Primary Health Organisations of New Zealand (PHONZ), Southern Lake Taupo Health Trust, Rotorua Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pihanga Health.
